TI would beat Ross in a hits battle but Ross has a better overall catalog, when you talk about the south, TI doesn't have a better catalog or better hits than Wayne or Luda and in a battle of just 20 songs(the verzuz format) Jeezy arguably could take him, and when you talk about the most influential rappers he's not even touching Gucci

You can't be the Jay Z of the south without the classic albums or the influence
he absolutely has a better catalog than luda. and personally id say better than wayne. after carter 2, wayne has alot of weak albums.
besides lemonade, what is gucci gonna play in battle outside a bunch of obscure mixtape songs only hardcore gucci fans know?
trap muzik aint a classic?

The Ross hype is just so damn weird to me.

He’s just an average rapper with a solid ear for luxurious-esque beats.

His DIAND verse was cool, but outside of that, Ross is the king of “damn I really don’t remember shyt he just said” verses.

Tip smoking the hell out of Ross. Jeezy vs Ross would be a better matchup, & even then.....

Not to mention, most of Ross’ hits are cause of other rappers standing out more on it. To me at least.

Bullshyt.

Deeper than Rap is better than anything T.I has put out. Not even gonna mention Rich Forever.

I think this would be a good battle. I could see it going either way. Tip has the bigger hits, but Ross has a better overall catalog.

Tip’s bids hurt his momentum and reality TV show took from his mystique so his songs didn’t hit the same with him on VH1 wearing Cosby sweaters.

I never said Gucci is beating him in a verzuz, TI obviously has more hits, but Gucci's impact and influence on the culture eclipses TI's based on his mixtape material

TI doesn't have a project that comes anywhere near C2, Dedication 2, Drought 3, and if we talking in a verzuz format Wayne blows him out of the water with singles and it's not even close

TI is on the tier with Ludacris as a B+ player, he can't be the Jay Z of the south like he wants to be when he doesn't have a Blueprint, RD, Black Album, Vol 3 etc, Trap Muzik aint that

Deeper Than Rap wouldn’t even be a Top 3 Tip project.

Also, Rich Forever, a tape where Drake & Nas’ verses stood out more than any Ross’ verse on his own tape by far.

Like I mentioned, compare Ross to Jeezy. That’s a bit more even.

There’s also a reason Ross be having a shytload of features on his projects.

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
I just think his music didnt age well...
...but I can listen to Ross's old stuff...Outkast, UGK, etc...

Port of Miami sounds as fresh today as it did in 2006.

I usually throw in Chevy Ridin' High, Florida's Birthday and Push It To The Limit Remix... and we got a complete album.

I can dig it.
