:ehh:

I feel like "King of the South" was more a marketing gimmick that he can always say he "is that"....than actual facts.

Kings of the South might include TI, but arguments for the number one spot could be crazy.

Yeah. Ross has room to make a case.

Hell J Cole has room to make a case

Wayne has room to make a major case.

Scarface, Andre 3K, Big Boi, Ludacris all can make a case...

Ross probably could’ve easily been one of the guys if people didn’t let that he was a corrections officer thing rock. I know people that won’t even listen to Ross because of that lol. I’m not a big fan of Ross but I do like some of his songs. I think he is going to have one of those “ looking back, Rick Ross had a nice little career” type of trajectories. He’s not beating TI because TI is more popular.

Im just curious, how old are you????? If you under the age of 26, I completely understand where you coming from... And if you are the age of like me, Im cool with people preferring Ross music, its just the disrespect of how big TI was for a long time, Im not understanding...

Im born in 87... TI was huge from Trap Music to Paper Trail.. What you know was the song of 06... I would say TI had the top albums of 06 and 08 popularity wise of what everyone played... Ross wasnt that.. Ross only peak high songwise was BMF, compared to TI having Rubberband Man, What you know, why you wanna, whatever you like, live your live, and even my love, which was the best song of JT's Futuresex/lovesounds. TI's hits and high indisputably makes him the bigger artist (and better is debatable, but you have to admit Ross is at a disadvantage when hes never even been close to TI's popularity)

My personal feeling, I agree with what someone said earlier in the thread, Ross other than TIAND and John, when has Ross ever killed a feature/song with others... TI killed soldier, superstar, We taking over, never scared, swagger like us, 3 kings, let me find out...

I just understand if you 26 and under, Ross is the better artist to you, because you werent conscious enough for the peak of TI in 02-08... Ross peak started honestly after the 50 beef, and went to maybe 13, so younger dudes will lean that way

Ross probably won't respond or battle TI in a versus. Mase handled Cam on wax, and cam one of the GOAT diss rappers. Ross will duck a lyrical ass whooping like he did with Banks.

Lyrical ass whippin from TI..... :gucci:

Ti can't fukk with Ross bar for bar

He couldn't fukk with luda

TI is the most overrated rapper in the south by far

Gunplay will lyrically whip TI's ass

Gunplay is the king of the south

I listed tracks. You listed a soliloquy of nonsense. Bring tracks, not emotions, to the discussion.

Some of y'all don't remember TIP reign or just purposely trying not to. T.I from 2004- 2008 could be the best been the best rapper in the game, what time period you can say the same for Ross? The mid 2000's to the 2010's Kanye, Wayne, T.i, Jay-Z ran the game.

You listed 20 TI tracks. I listed 15 for him. 10 of the ones I listed, you got on your list too. So what are you saying? Only TI fans would know some of the tracks you listed. Lol @ hits.

I didn't ignore your post. I saw you made wild assumptions that made zero sense because you were projecting. You didnt pay attention to ross until after the 50 beef, so you think everyone didn't pay attention to ross until after the 50 beef. In your opinion, ross peaked after the 50 beef (in 2009) so you say I would lean towards ross tracks from 2010 to 2013, yet 25 of the tracks i listed were from 2006-2009:gucci:

You're not making sense.

If anything is being underrated, is Ross skills as an MC

I bet you them NY heavyweights respect his pen

Give me Ross. N it's a rather easy pick for me

If Nas gets credit for being able to paint a picture
If pac gets credit for being able to put you in a mood
Why shouldn't Rick? He does both!!
Ross MC skills n catalog are superior. Imho

*disclaimer* I don't listen to ti like that. Just know about singles n radio hits.
Ross literally has classics going back and forth with Jay, Nas, and even Drake.

nikkas hating on Ross pen are truly delusional
