Mase says he studied Nas, Red, LL and Meth to develop his style, he used to not listen to Biggie because he was a 2Pac fan

The World, but from BK
Honest question. Wasnt No Way Out a Ma$e project anyways?

Didn’t he co-write on life after death? Swear I’ve read/heard that.

Maaan, Ma$e only wrote on "Mo Money Mo Problems" cause it was his song until BIG floated on it. He had nothing else to do with LAD.

I was never a Ma$e fan but can't deny his impact when he first came out.

Mase was never hotter than Drake :mjlol:

Drake changed the rap game before he officially got in the game.
He definitely was. You likely aren’t old enough to have experienced it in real time but for those of us who did, Mase (Puffy & Mase in combination really, to be fair) was a true phenomenon. Drake obviously sustained a longer run and became way more famous than Mase ever did, but Mase referenced his start being hotter than even Drake’s start, and it was.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
The third biggest rapper on his label cannot be the “hottest rapper of the year”

Biggie was the hottest rapper of 1997.

So again… if you have the third biggest album on your own label that year, you cannot be the hottest rapper
What if you're the only rapper alive on the label? What if the other rapper ain't a rapper at all...

But I see you purposely missing the point
