My response was to a poster that Trump isn’t a “real Republican.”

Irregardless of any exodus of self-identifying Republicans, the Republican party is now the Trump party as it has been revamped in his image, so Trump indeed a “real Republican” by any reasonable definition.

No question. He's drug the party way right. He's exposed any number of disingenuous tenets of the party's platform over the past decade. Family values, small government, state's rights, fiscal conservatism, etc. It was all bullshyt.

Yup. Props for having to balls to even post this on here but I’ve worked with some conservative people who were cool. In fact some of the coolest white people I know period are conservative. It’s just all about respect when we’re around each other

And several of my coworkers support trump, blindly so.

There are also racists among them, so I also want to say that there are DEFINITELY republicans that fit
