His results for hip hop culture are incredible.

He did it first. At this level. And you're right I can mention several of the top rappers who are nowhere near doing this.

Not even doing 10% of what Nas is contributing back.

Not that it makes them look bad....kinda does....it makes Nas look so much greater than all of them.

To me aside from his voice his style his discography, what makes Nas the greatest is his love and respect for the hh culture and for black people.
It's all over his songs : ultra black, doo rags, blunt ashes... It's all about celebrating black culture. His love for the game is something else. He could have retired a long time ago, he could stop touring if he wants right now but he's still willing to share and please the fans.
