The bridges uptown are draw bridges which need to open to let boats pass but the BK Bridge appears to be high enough to most boats to pass under, except for that one in OP

Yeah, the thread title is damn near clickbait. Before I clicked I thought the Brooklyn Bridge got major damage with a lot of injuries to people on the ship.
