It might be the Two Steps From Hell song Protectors of Earth but that trailer makes the game seem like one of the best ever and dammit it was right up until the point they fired the crucible and that platform takes you up.

i still can't get over the L we took as a gaming community on that game. i mean honestly i've never played another game where the ending just put me off to the whole game and series like that.

that ending was like a hoop team being up by 40 points at the start of the 4th quarter and losing the game in the final seconds.

Can somebody explain the hate for the ending to this? I mean I've finished it but I didn't quite get what the huge fuss was about :yeshrug:

The kid was dumb, but I easily can write that off as Shepard hallucinating while talking to a vi. Overall the ending didnt bother me because the way I see it, I still got an ending that fit my character, I destroyed the reapers and lived to tell about it.

I ran through the game for the 3rd time last week, it will be one of the most underappreciated games this gen, but it was great.

Bioware/EA did fukk up though, if they would have made the citadel dlc as a part of the game, I believe there would be no complaints about the game.

Instead of having a thread where people complain about the ending, AGAIN

Post or write a better one.... and not that gay ass indoctrination ending that the internet loves, I put in way too much work for THAT garbage.

1. the ending is illogical. synthetics and organics can peacefully co-exist and you can prove it in the game by getting a truce between the Quarians and Geth. the ending basically ignores the game's own canon and argues that at some point synthetics will destroy organics

2. the ending has minimal closure to the story it pretty much abandons you after you spent all this time with all these characters you get slim pickings at the end.

3. the ending pretty much takes all the choices you made in the game throws them in a blender and gives you three generic options none of which reflect what you did during the trilogy.

4. the ending ruins the existence of the Reapers. they went from existences beyond human comprehension to galactic janitors.

5. the ending destroys the whole point of the game. unite the galaxy to take on the Reapers and from there hit a button and pick one of three options. the galaxy does unite but doesn't really overcome anything. their unity is pointless because no matter what they do the catalyst will let Shepard decide their fate.

6. the ending is really hurt by the fact that all the foreshadowing to it is included in a DLC that came out well after everybody beat the game. Leviathan should have been part of the main game not a DLC. in some respects Leviathan spoils aspects of the ending but they would have been less shocking and jarring had they gone that route.

7. no matter what you do if you let Morinth live in Mass Effect 2 she becomes that. an afterthought a generic enemy type in the final battle. there's no possible way to avoid that fate for her.

What you did there was unprecedented, if you listen to Javiks convo with Garrus he is untrusting of synthetics because wars between creators and created happened many times during his cycle.

the citadel... dlc should have been part of the game, it wasnt so i cant argue this point

you worried about a bytch that tried to mindfukk you death? Really??? Aint you asexual? :lolbron: i gladly killed that bytch

You got some good points, this has brought me to the conclusion that ea and bioware fukked up trying to sell vital info as dlc :snoop:
