May be in the minority but I'm not a fan at all of Shepard and/or the crew making a return. Cameos considering some like Liara, Wrex & Grunt have absurd life spans? Thats cool. As a squad, though? Love 'em all to death, but no. The Mass Effect universe is collosal. Leaning into old faces is safe. That chapter should be closed and that story told, but considering how poorly received Andromeda was, they're probably desperate and I don't blame them. Their first major attempt to world build and expand the cast failed and I don't doubt the suits will be a lot more conservative this time because of that. Public perception is key this go 'round and they aren't going to risk fumbling the bag.

Shepard is one of the coldest characters ever breh. I even rock with the guy from Andromeda but Shepard is a hall of fame first ballot character.

Dragon Age universe and characters > Mass Effect's.

The reason why people love Mass Effect so much is because damn near all of the characters are designed great and they are with you for the duration of three games. Dragon Age mixes up the protagonists in the games and only a few of them are in all three games and even then, you might have to do certain things to see them. However, Bioware does high fantasy better than sci-fi. That said, Shepard is their greatest character ever. If Dragon Age 4 lives up to what it could be, Solas should end up at that tier, even if we will likely never use him again in a game.
