From what I read most of the stabbing happened in different locations within that city or town. Looks like they were purposely looking for people to stab then taking off and stabbing someone somewhere else and taking off again

Ok, I can understand the reason for being snarky about this. I am also a strong supporter of the right to bear arms. Still, I have to admit that what they accomplished with knives in different areas over hours would have taken minutes with the right type of projectile weapons.

However, the point of my post is that Trudeau and his team uses gun crimes (that usually occur with illegally obtained firearms), that don't even occur in Canada sometimes, like the Uvdale shooting, to legitimize banning pistols/rifles.

The point is that his logic falls apart when we apply it to other things

There was a man who mowed down a dozen people with a van in a short amount of time in Toronto. There are several ways for evil people to do damage in a short amount of time.

Don't punish law abiding citizens because of the actions of criminals.
