Not even close. ESPN and the be like Mike campaign dumbed down multiple generations of sports fans to think coaching doesn't matter, everyone is in the same situation as each other as it relates to a quality supporting cast, winning with the team that drafted your somehow means more, they're conditioned to ignore any luck and injuries that don't fit their agenda, taught to value nothing basically except points per game, to think the stars of the past are greater no matter what, and that the answer to every problem is to basically go isolation and chuck up contested fadeaway 18 footers. Baseball fans and hockey fans are very rational about their sports and usually can break the game down very well, so they're actually logical fans. Basketball talk almost 100% of the time can devolve into a barbershop argument of foolishness and stannery
