Masta Ace might be the only artist who started in the 80's that still puts out quality music. I want to say De La also but The Grind Date was over 10 years ago now so I need to see what the new album sounds like

True..

I said on here before that Ace was the best pure artist in Juice Crew.

You're in a Lexus, or a Blazer
You're in a Beamer, or a Benz
You're in a Corvette, or a Nissan
You're in a Sidekick, wit your friends
You're in a Caddy, a Land-cruiser
A Range Rover, a Mustang
You're in a Burban with ten woofers
Then your system,
It must bang

Between this and long hot summer

Long Hot Summer was nice

Take A Look Around is underrated

I was listening back to that album yesterday and it still holds up so well

But Sittin’ On Chrome is the one Ace album I listen to and never skip any songs

I still think Sittin’ On Chrome is Masta Ace’s best album

The songwriting

The production

The artwork for the albim

Everything was perfect
He has a lot of dope albums, but I've listened to this probably ten times more than any of his others. Something about it was so special. I guess the funkier west coast sound mixed with east coast content and the grittiness of Lord Digga. Ace really cracked the code with this one.

Exactly!

Ace is pretty consistent with his rhymes on every album but the funky West Coast production on this album is what helped take it to another album and helped make it so special.

The album is so well sequenced from the songs to skits

Ace, Lord Digga, Paula Perry and Leschea all did their thing on the album.
