Masta Ace is also the reason we got Eminem and Royce Da 5'9" they basically ran with Ace's whole style and Royce even sounds like him when I first heard "Boom" I thought it was Masta Ace

:whoa:

Read before you react dun.

When you go back to the Symphony, IMHO, G Rap ripped Kane a new one. So much so, that Ace's verse is overlooked.

WTF?

G Rap had a great verse, but he DID NOT "rip Kane a new one"

Kane's verse was incredible!!!

The lyrics, the delivery, the flow! Everything!

"So just acknowledge the way that I kicked it
Cause if rap was a house, you'd be evicted
And dismissed from the microphone, chokin' on a bone, cause Daddy's home
And battlin' me is hazardous to your health
So put a quarter in your ass, cause ya played yourself
Like a game in the arcade, you need a far aid
I'm walkin' the path that Allah made"

"So I can let lyrics blast like a bullet
My mouth is the gun; on suckers I pull it
The trigger, ya figure, my pockets gettin' bigger
Cause when it comes to money, yo, Grant's my nicca!"

"You've got the groove, emcees, freeze, stand still, nobody move
It's a sabotage, as I take charge. Don't barge, cause goddamn, I'm livin' large
Like a giant. You're nothin' but a midget, a small digit
You ain't hit it, forget it, quit it
I reign superior, always takin' care o'ya
No-frill rappers, you will evaporate, disintegrate, deflate to your fate
As the great will dominate straight to the state
Of reignin', gainin'. So put Kane in, that category. Period. End of story"

Kane made questionable decisions after his second album, but his skills did not decline.

Masta Ace is great and often gets overlooked. BDK, though, is a legitimate top 10 of all time talent.

Exactly. Kane went too far in the R&B direction, but he his skills on the mic were ALWAYS top-notch

Long Live The Kane and It's a Big Daddy Thing are undisputed hip-hop classics.

Taste of Chocolate and Looks Like a Job For were really good albums as well

lmao @ Kane being a top 10 talent but Masta not. Masta shyts on Kane. Kane couldn't progress with the music, Masta Ace stay innovating.

I think you comparing two different styles. Ace to me is versatile and Kane to me is more multi as far as his delivery. I think i have to go with Ace though, i think he is a better story teller than kane imo. and Disposable arts is a classic.
