They both make some pretty solid albums and are pretty underrated as fair as the "mainstream" is concerned.

Az is the better rapper. Ace got more cohesive albums tho

I like them both but this is AZ and tbh not that close to me

overall, Masta Ace... I can't listen to none of AZ's albums the whole way through except Doe or Die. Masta Ace consistently picks better beats, AZ got a better flow but a lot of the time he picks the wrong beats for his flow. They're both good storytellers, AZ is a little more clever as a writer but Masta Ace has better cadence and he has a knack for making concept records that are still accessible.

I'd take an AZ feature over a Masta Ace feature but as an artist Masta Ace >.

AZ has much better highs and is my favorite personally but most his projects are inconsistent. Ace catalog is consistently great.

I’m a huge Ace fan, probably got both rappers in my top 20-25 but AZs pen game & flow are far superior but Ace clearly has the case for the better catalogue.

But I’m edging towards AZ.

I mess with both. AZ is better technically, but I'd rather listen to an Ace album. I feel like Ace also has a better range when it comes to writing.

Same as all of the above said.. Bars probably AZ (Technically) but as far as albums go it's not even really close Ace all day. Disposable Arts and Long Hot Summer are masterpieces.
