We as a culture have some of the worst fans of any music genre and the stats don't lie. Veterans in other genres can do steady shows and eat. Rap vets are called washed up, irrelevant and people sit around mocking their low album sales.
The nerdier the music fan the stingier. It be the "real rap" head and tough critics with the tightest wallets and the most to say or demand from artists.

legendary ace..yea for sure....the one thing i will praise tidal recommendation system and song radio system is that they recommend artist i would have never found out about....but they ,the older hip generation, are stuck on their nas( the goat) jay, kiss ect and whine about the new hip hop, as if the old or traditional shyt aint out there lol
