:rudy:

so now, no limit didnt have their own sound?

you dudes be going way overboard on here.
Yea they def had they own sound but P is a notorious biter at the same time. Hoodie Hoo, where u at Woadie, and Wobble Wobble jus off the top. Yea I kno woadie is a NO term but u NEVER HEARD them NL nikkas mention tht shyt til Cash Money got on :damn:

Wobble wobble wasnt terrible but It was a blatant Back tht Ass Up copycat joint. And hoody hoo was some ATL shyt if i aint mistaken. Pre internet age when regional shyt was regional. nikkas talked diff, dressed diff, etc.

ha? @ the bolded. nikkas STILL talk & dress different. aint nothing changed because of no internet.

and this is overblown. theres rappers that are worshipped on this site(some are goats) that have worse cases of biting on their resume, but people barely ever address it. all P did with those records youre mentioning is swipe concepts of chit that had already ran its course and went nowhere. then he turned around and made completely different records out of em. those dru down/luniz & unlv songs ran their courses & were never gonna do anything nationally. and that outkast song was out in the mainstream like 3 or 5 years beforehand. and the "hoody hoo" thing was the least effective element of TRU's song.

meanwhile, these other dudes, done swiped chit before the victim artists could even get their chit off the ground. and nobody says chit. only thing you can say about P is that he was more blatant & unapologetic with it, but thats because he didnt give a f*kk.

as far as wobble wobble goes, they bit the wobble wobble part of course, but aside from that, no limit always kept tracks like that in the stash.

Yea ppl do still talk and dress SLIGHTLY different but the internet and social media has merged hiphop culture itself into one thing. It aint as much uniqueness across the board. I say to say a NO nikka sayin Hoody Hoo back then was super regionalized. I aint bout to go back and forth my guy. Ima jus ask what element is most prominent in hoody hoo besides the hook brehman? Silks verse lol? "n-o l-i-m-i- to the t, nikka"

its more than slightly different. nothing has really changed. yall overrate the impact of the internet.

i was never arguing about the bolded in the firstplace.

:comeon: @ the bolded. its turn-up music. pretty much the biggest rowdy song of the year. and the best part was the beat. and P's verse was a firestarter. nobody cared about the term "hoody hoo", and the people that did run around repeating it, were doing it off the strength of the song. and theres absolutely nothing comparable to the outkast track, which was old school by that point anyway. lol.

btw, juvi version aint even the original "back that thang up".

Turned it off as soon as I heard the robotic man gargling water in his mouth in the beginning.

P name been everywhere lately... nikkas thought he was done but it ain't no limit. When you sleep on the floor you never fall out of bed. Money still long. Lol

Yall realize how crazy it is that two of the biggest rap labels ever , started in the same city , not far from each other , by black men , employed family members, lost lil brothers and close friends , bullied cac music execs , and revolutionized the game?
