Bout It Bout sold how many, 500,000 copies in a month or some crazy number, no theater release or advertisement

I don't know too many ppl who are trash that can sell that many copies in a short span of time with NO PROMO

If you trash, and putting out wack ass music, ppl aint fukking wit you like that, that's why I say if you wasn't 11 years old or older or had big brehs or uncles in the years from 97-99, I can't respect your post about P not doing his thing and how he was trash, you don't know how P ran the rap game.

nikka even had a doll/action figure or something that came out smh.

Mase went what? 4x platinum...all over tv and radio...on all kind of remixes. That's my reasoning? That's just reality.
Ghetto D went triple plat, MP Da Last Don quadruple plat:ohhh: P was all over TV with Make Em Say Uhh, I Miss My Homies, I Got The Hook-Up, Goodbye To My Homies, Let's Ride (Montell Jordan), Kenny's Dead, etc

Dude was the nr 1 rap star in 98 besides DMX, nr 2 in 97 after Puffy and Biggie

so what's your point?

can we now :camby: this debate about when No Limit fell off?....it was 99 after Silkk and C didnt live up to expectation and Cash Money started blowing up...400 Degreez didnt kill shyt out the gate. It was released at the end of 98 and slow burned through 99..

Literally a month after P dropped Da Last Don, Shell Shocked & Brother's Keeper dropped. Snoop's debut came out in August, then Mystikal ended the year....if you wanna say they fell off cause the Dsquad dropped a few albums after P ...:aicmon: but :manny:....

tell me another rap label that dropped 5 platinum rap artists in a year , then had 4 or 5 others go gold:gucci:

we can talk quality all day..thats subjective..your trash is my classic and vice versa

but you cant tell me a label fell off in a year like nolimit had in 98...any other label did that, yall be erecting statues and whatnot

respek this legendary southern shyt

This was my shyt

Looking back I'm embarrassed at how much I fukked with Master P, he did an absurd amount of biting smh (Hoody Hoo from Outkast).........He was running shyt back then tho.

The fact that he was able to sign Snoop and get him if off Death Row when everyone else was scared shytless said it all.

I'm from Philly so his shyt traveled heavy.

True story, at Upenn me and some friend's took Michael Eric Dyson's hip hop class. I knew so much about Master P and No Limit's record deal that my homie literally cited me for his paper without doing any research and straight up got an A.

THE MOST OUTTER REACHES OF THE COSMOS
like homie said earlier, rap-a-lot were early pioneers giving the alley-oop, but no limit soldiers were the ones that opened the floodgates.

put it like this:
2 live crew = sugar hill gang
geto boys = furious five
master p/no limit = run dmc
Good prototype example,but it's still RAP-A-LOT-4 LIFE:salute:
