The difference is that those men haven't had their names associated with cheap knockoff products for years. They all come off as businessmen who associate themselves with quality instead of coming off like a hustler looking for the next come up. P and Dame Dash come off as used car salesmen so for them it would make a lot more sense for them to play the background.

If master p creates sneakers and doesn’t promote it how does it gain traction? He isn’t partnered with a billion dollar organization. That is literally how business works you gotta do the footwork yourself to get it off the ground. Master p and dame create chit and promote it to sell it and they’re called used car salesman. But a known shark like puff pushes somebody else’s product like Ciroc and it’s all good.

the product is a blatant rip off you say. as if other well known companies are not ripping off other people and never telling you who the creators were. percy is only doing what they have done.
do you really think he got 400 mil from rap? THINK. not even eminem got that kind of cash just by rapping alone. THINK. go pull up some P youtube interviews. he's been a business man the entire time. he was not a rapper turned business man. he got into the game as a business man first, then turned rapper/business man. in the industry he does side deals bringing people to other clients to have them signed. he also looks over people's deals trying to get them a better or a good situation to start off with. of course he takes a small fee for doing it.
when you make that kind of bread doing a lot of entertainment stuff, rapping, running a label, creating movies. he's probably into real estate to some degree.
you cant use them as an example. these businessmen are all partnering up with established brands for fear they can't create their own.
P and Dame arent used car salesmen. they are trying to sell teslas to a market that are used to cars they know. the problem is, they are not white. if they were, it would work out a lot better for them.
