:heh: This track dropped when I was High School Freshman & I didn't understand why this track came & went., but rewatching this music video as an adult I can't help but :mjlol: at Master P coming off as :flabbynsick: trying to keep with the Crunk wave that was going Hip-Hop at the time.

:dead: At the fact Lil' Jon didn't even bother to show up for the music video shoot when back than Lil Jon always at least made cameo appearances in the music videos for the tracks he produced.

Man, was Master P a legend in the late 90's. I Got The Hook Up was damn near my favorite song EVER around 1998

but, you have to essentially disavow everything after 1999. Step to Dis his last stand. and try playing that now LOL

you could catch me turning that up loud as fukk on the way to school with my homies sister

You have to accept that P essentially was never really original, but an innovator and a legend, either way.

He's biting Puff in this

He sharked the Cash Money style around 2001

He did the Crunk shyt in 2004

Jacked the Bay Area around 1995 e40 and them

He wanted to recapture that Youngbloodz Damn energy in the video :mjlol:
:heh: I was looking through Master P's Billboard chart history & I forgot about this joint that was also on the same album:

Unlike "Act A Fool", I do remember "Them Jeans" getting played on the radio.

Man Master P from Step Ta Dis and on besides 504 Boyz (the first album) was so washed lmaoo. Chasing every trend possible and it did not work. A guilty pleasure of mine though was “I Need Dubs”. I’m a sucker for that sample and it legit shakes your trunk. That’s the only time I’ve ever willingly listened to Lil Romeo.

He had some bangers on that album. This album still isn't on Spotify. I'm guessing this is when universal started pulling the plug on him
