I find it crazy how much money they're willing to throw at qb's. Ok, they're the "leader" but they literally cannot do shyt without 10 other guys on the field, you truly could, albeit poorly, run an offense without one. Just have someone who can hand off the ball or make some sort of forward throw. I get that they're super protected and thus have more longevity, but shyt, give them more guarantees, not inflated, and at times, crippling salaries. Or just stick to paying the ones who deserve it, not simply anyone in a starting role.
