I don't know never watched the show I just heard misogny in the workplace was a big element of the show.
fukk.....There's this knee jerk reaction to not want people who have made art that is meaningful to you, to be these absolutely depraved people, yet here we are. No passes. I would never even consider doing that to someone, it's that kind of Revenge of the Nerds, Bitter about women feeling I get from Weiner.
This has been a very fascinating time, I've always been someone to stand up for the oppressed or discriminated since I was young, but the last few years I have been really outspoken about (among other things) rape culture, sexual harassment, misogyny. The other part is I have friends who would doubtlessly do this same kind of thing, very steeped in male privilege entitlement, and it's changed how I feel about them.
