I don’t mind Mauro, I just hate how he always talks over the entrances. Happened in Pride, Strikeforce, Bellator, Njpw and on smackdown. He gotta shut up sometimes and know that it’s ok to have dead air

Apparently, he's been doing it for years. He likes to keep up with pop culture and incorporate it into his commentary. It doesn't always work, but it probably helps him have more fun at the table.

I would rather hear a few hip hop references every week than have to hear "OH MY!" or "YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" or "THE BIG DOG!" or "IT'S BOSS TIME!" every week.
