Its not even something that needs to be debated. Its common sense that Green can be of more value than Ellis next season pending on their upcoming free agency moves. I mean just look at what the Mavs suck at and see where Green can help them plus his three point shooting. The points about Ellis being the main reason for the Mavs top offensive rating in 2014 and being an impactful defender were just blatantly wrong though
i) Monta had more influence in their improvement on offense (reasons stated above) than every other player on the team. Fact.
ii) I never stated or insinuated that he was an "impactful" defender - just that he did have some sort of "tangible" defensive value. Fact.

Look up 3 and D in the dictionary and you'll find a pic of Danny Green

Replace Shump with Green in the Finals, and Lebron has ring #3. He's that valuable.

Can't recall how many of those were contested vs. wide open :yeshrug:, but Bron was getting dudes wide open looks from 3. If you could handpick a team to put around LBJ, Green would be close to the prototype at SG.
Doesn't matter how you want to twist it, replacing Shumpert with Green would have still left the Cavs without a title. :manny:

Danny Green can't dribble a basketball :yeah ok:

On top of that he won't even shoot unless he is wide open:yeah ok:

So you need a pass first point guard or a drive and dish point guard, otherwise Danny won't shoot the ball 5 times a game :yeah ok:

Funny thing is Dallas had a point guard that would work perfectly with Danny...but they ran him out of town:yeah ok:

Dirk coming off the bench is logically the only way. Otherwise you're recreating the Blazers 2.0. Not mention you take away his extra advantage of being a legit 6'11 cat with length and wide arrangement of shots at the 4. There's 5's in the league like Marc Gasol who can stop his penetration like nothing. But his advantage of 4's make him a real threat...

nikkas in Dallas been real quiet on this forum about LMA, now they're starting to talk about possible scenarios :troll:
@Black Jesus

How is dirk coming off the bench the only way.

Lma soft ass can move to the five.

I ain't sitting dirk for no fukkin lma.
I definitely not down grading him, either.

And ppl didn't believe me green would get 10-12..

I like it. Green is 2 years younger and doesn't need the ball to be effective. Plus he is a good defender and Mavs shooting was inconsistent
