Reading that article on the gambling world, capitalism is kind of crazy stupid sometimes. Like, the amount of intensive human effort that the gambling world spends on something so utterly meaningless, when there are vast problems out there to solve. Just because of where the profit is.

:wow: I been following this geek for a minute. He made most of his money betting the 2001 lakers in the playoffs if I remember correctly. I enjoy when he’s on with bill Simmons even tho he sounds like a fakkit
I thought he made most of his money exploiting the half totals. Back in the day oddsmakers would just come up with a game total cut the number in half and set that to be the total for both halfs. He realized there was a lot more scoring in the 2nd half of games than the first half because the 4th quarter gets so drawn out with timeouts, intentional fouls, free throws, etc

He said it on one of his bill Simmons podcasts. Go back and listen to each one he guests on. Annoying voice, talks like a douche but is interesting to listen for me cuz I bet nba everyday

As if dude could be anymore smug, can't imagine what he's gonna be like with an NBA gig

Hearing him on Bill Simmons' podcast is torture.

He talks about basketball like he invented it. I've never heard someone with such base knowledge of sport/analytics sound so arrogant.

I'm not an anti-analytics guy, but I swear numbers has made nerds feel like they know more than people who actually play/played the sport they're talking about.
