I'll go against the grain here, after the first 6 tracks I think the production is very average.

Max still sound great, and has great flows, I just kind of want him to get down on more trappy beats. I don't want to be transformed to the 2000s when I listen to new Max, I already have tons of gems from that actual era for that. I want Max to get down on current "trend" and show no matter what typa shyt is popular at the moment he can come and kill that style better than any of the young cats.

Always good to hear new Max though, and he shining on it, just production sounding dated to me.
nah fukk you blabbin about :laff: man up outta here with that bullshyt
shyt hard all the way through

He got transferred to a lower security prison which allows him to record music. His current record label hooked him up and provided the producer. Basically, because he was doing good in the higher security prison, he was given the privilege to change prisons and make art

what did he do to change prisons and who is the engineer. Does he record in a cell or he records in a actual studio they let him out to record.

sorry to sound stupid I’m just curious as to what the process is like.

I believe he got transferred for good behavior. I'm not sure about the recording process

That’s the last thing we should want. The entire industry is over-saturated with that style and I’m glad none of that is on here. Minus and AlPac and Mak Mustard (lol) feature and Young Los, this is exactly what I want a Max B project to sound like in 2021.

Nahhh this project isnt tuff all the way through.... And let me state it's not because of Max before y'all try to kill me.

The standouts here are Don't make me cry, Mountains, Porno Music 3, 75 in the can. Those sound like vintage era Max, and are good renditions. The rest sound like scuffed versions, or bad trap attempts.

Max saves alot of the beats on here.. I'll call specific ones out.

Blackout.... Max is fukkin going off, and shows he can get down on trap beats with ease, beat is less than spectacular though. He didn't "Change his style" either, I'm saying he can do his style on any type of production, and I personally wanna hear some more trap beats, think he flows well on them and we haven't heard alot of him on this style yet (due to prison ofc). Not to mention I want to see him get over big with the young generation.

I Wonder.... :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: Anyone could make this beat on FL Studio.....

Favorite Man sound like it was mixed in prison. :francis:

I know he chose the producer Paul Couture and the beats. I just hope when he get out he isn't gonna go this route, and call in favors from better people. There are plenty of greats that fukk with Max and can do his vintage soulful/funk bops. As well as any good trap producer, he would KILL those beats, make major noise if any trap singles caught on...

My ultimate dream collab is current era Ye production with Max.

Also here is a thread where I speculated he was the most versatile artist that could come into today's era and kill it, and people were not up on that idea: Does Max B have the best shot of success of rappers coming out after long bids

This project disappointed me production wise, multiple tracks listenable just because Max. I personally want to see him on more modern style beats, but even if you just want nostalgic vintage Max beats, these are lackluster.
