Max B laid back way of rapping over luxurious production has been used by curren$y, Jim jones, wiz Khalifa, lil b, etc.
He also had a relatable everyday “slice of life” lyrics, which you see a lot from Larry June and curren$y
He was one of the first rappers I heard with a melodic style of rapping. He would transition between rapping and singing (albeit bad singing) way before it was popular to do so (Drake, thug, etc.)
I’ll even include his unconventional sample choices.
Even to this day in NYC, the cash cobain slizzy movement takes some influences from Max as well, especially the fashion

Max had everything against him and still came out on top.
After incarceration he blew up bigger than ever with co signs from Wiz, Curren$y, Kanye, etc. Hell even Jay shouted him out on the song with Dr Dre and Rick Ross and Max dissed Jay before. Max influence on the USA is one of one.
