Max B was a real NY n*gga who embodied all of the great traits that would've made him a superstar. he wasn't lyrically a monster but his shyt is smooth and melodic. no matter what mood you're in or activity you're doing a Max B joint will fit nicely into it. out of all the rappers to come and go over the last 15 years, i was really disappointing to see Max go. as a true new yorker, it was clear to see he had what it took.

i would trade Max B for every NY artist to come out in the last 4 years....EVERYONE.

I remember goin to the wave site and seein new freestyles were dropped :banderas:

No one could front on Max's work ethic. He kept the streets fed and would definitely have been a factor now. Everyone from Harry Fraud to Wiz and all them talking bout shyt is "wavy".

Max was so dope that you could listen to tracks with him and mediocre cats like French and Al pac and just let it ride.

Norfeast groovin…
God I miss the Boss Don, Max was like King Midas or some shyt everything he touched turned wavy. :wow:

If Max and Stacks was still around Hip Hop would be way different and NYC would finally have some damn respectability on the mic.

This is complete bullsh*t. I'm from 145th street and 7th....Harlem to be exact and in 2008 Max B was still considered some Jim Jones flunky. Max B was a sensation on Hip Hop messageboards..and u internet heads always confuse whats popping on the internet with whats really popping in the streets.

The streets knew who Max B was...But the streets weren't bowing down like that. It wasn't till Max B got locked up and sentenced that he started making real noise and that was all based on reputation...Not music. Thats when alll the bandwagon jumping started. I remember all of this because back in 2008 when I did the article on Baby J (Max B's cousin) not one person mentioned Max B.

Totally disagree

Max's mixtapes were heavy in the streets before he got sentenced

Theres no doubt that if he didn't get locked up, Max would be huge.

He'd easily be bigger than French and on the level of ASAP or Future
