Christie was the fifth option in LA behind Bron, AD, Reaves, and Rui. He just started getting minutes this season after riding the pine the last two years.

Dallas is dealing with injuries so Christie has a bigger role and more minutes than he had in LA.

Ironically his ceiling may be prime Doug Christie level, top tier role player. Max won’t become the same level of defender but he very well may be a more consistent offensive option. But that’s his level.
