I will continue to tell everyone years from now about how Manny and Bob Arum ducked prime Mayweather for 5 years, didnt want to do blood testing...Floyd wanted that fight in 2009 but with steroid rumor linked to pac,he wanted fair testing for both that the Arum camp rejected...Ultimately it was cuz HBO knew prime Floyd would embarass Pacquiao...

"were going to build a 40 000 seat stadium for the fight" :mjlol:
LMAOOOOO
i forgot all about that
i cant believe how dumb some ppl are, seriously

DLH was old as hell, but he's a warrior and I respect him more than Floyd. That DLH/Floyd fight was a lot closer than it shoulda been. Floyds last fight was Andre Fukkin Berto. Case closed

The irony of you calling 34 year old Oscar "old as hell" in a fight against a smaller man, but want a damn near 40 year old Floyd to fight GGG to "prove himself" worthy to you :martin:

Breh.
Mayweather is an all time great. I've said it repeatedly.

But don't act like he fought the best guys in their primes like other historically great fighters.

One Canelo fight doesn't equal the caliber of fighters that a Duran or Sugar Ray fought.

College Park by way of East Bmore
Funny thing is Floyd is almost two years older than Manny and four younger than Oscar. I know boxing years are like dog years but peolpe act like there is this huge age difference between Oscar and Floyd. Floyd is 13 years older than Alvarez. I never hear him applauded for this. Just shytted on. Which of his contemporaries did he duck? I know he is an easy target, some of it his own doing but to minimize his legacy is clearly a biased observation.

Floyd beat Canelo, the current face of boxing, who beat the best guy out there when he was past his prime

yet people still complain

Max Kellerman and everybody at HBO have ruined boxing

that's why nobody wants to see pacquiao fight, they can't even get money to put cards on HBO anymore because they spent all that energy hating on Mayweather, they destroyed the boxing game.

If Mayweather is cherry pick ducking all the tough fights

who is Canelo, a bum
Who is Paacquiao, a bum, why would you want to see them fight they lost to the coward mayweather who runs and were cherry picked

Nevermind when Floyd was the same age as Leonard when he fought Duran, he beat the undefeated Diego Corrales in devastating fashion when everyone one was saying he's been knocked out

This constant trying to discredit Floyd or slight him from all the boxing media has backfired on them.

HBO is pretty much out of the boxing business, when they use to have Floyd signed to him. He was signed to HBO and they were still shytting on him, trying to dismiss his career. So he went to showtime instead, and now HBO can't even put together a card.

Max Kellerman letting those words fly off his herpes infested lips because he been sucking jim lampley dikk too much over there on HBO

When manny was fighting Chris Algeri and Brandon Rios, I didn't hear shyt about picking easy fights, or when he fought Bradley 3 times, those are 3 fighters with no punching power lmao. Meanwhile Floyd fought Canelo, and Maidana twice.

fukk outta here.

Roberto Duran straight up quit on his stool, and now they are trying to revise history talking about he said go to hell, when that sounds nothing remotely close to No mas in spanish,
It does agitate me how they tryin to make Duran other than what he was in that fight, a defeated quitter.

Meh. It didn't feel like too heavy a jab at Mayweather.

ODH's article on Mayweather will forever be the biggest slam anyone has sent to Floyd.
He shytted on Mayweather for not doing his part to make the best fights and said with him gone we're gonna go back to the best fighting the best...and then when it came time to make Canelo/GGG he said we're going to let that fight marinate. His words were hollow, that article wasn't shyt.

First, Golden Boy doesn't manage either fighter.
But you have a point.

Second, the quality of fighters that ODLH fought from like..age 23-31 is more impressive than the guys Floyd fought in that same age period. You'd have to be a jerk not to admit that much.

Say whatever you want about the dominance Floyd exhibited in his mid 30s (and he did DOMINATE)...but part of the reason Oscar was effectively finished at 32 is precisely because of the wars he had and the quality of opponents he faced.

I'm in no way saying that ODLH is a greater talent than Money Mayweather. But please, for the love of everything holy, stop trying to act like he fought the toughest competition ever.

He didn't.
He just fukkin didn't.
