Since you bring it up, Floyd fighting Margarito and Paul would have been great.
The point is NOT that Floyd would have lost to them.
The point is that those were highly notable quality fighters at the time who did not get an opportunity.
You understand this fundamental point, right?
They didn't deserve the opportunity
Paul never beat anyone at welterweight to put him i the conversation with Floyd, he beat margarito when margarito was still a nobody
nobody cared about paul williams fighting floyd to after the fact
the were saying Floyd was ducking ricky hatton lmao
Paul Williams even said he Floyd ain't duck him
Margarito got knocked out by Shane, that ended any chance he had to fight Floyd, he would've beat Shane he would've been in the conversation
also Margarito was with Top rank, Floyd hasn't fought anyone from Top Rank except for Manny after he had to talk to him personally
Paul Williams got in a car accident, ended his career, he was scheduled to fight Canelo next, he probably would've lost, but if he won then he would've been in position to get a fight with Floyd. He was never on the radar period.
