I'm a fan of Max but the show as a whole I can't get into with contrived arguments for 2 hours of mostly the same few topics.

It's also spawned hundreds of other shows that are just like this

Because of first take sports tv is now mostly hot take and contrived argument Hack garbage

Yeah shyt is awful can't understand how people can watch this shyt daily fukking boring phony debates

once they hired Max I knew the show would be straight. Max has always been pretty cool imo. He's always been the same dude throughout the years.

Dont really watch the show as much as I used too though. Got tired of the hot takes and SAS being a c00n.

This right here. It's not a coincidence that First Takes ratings went up on ESPN1 and Sportscenter's dropped when moved to ESPN2. More curious to see what First Takes averages were on ESPN2.

Skip is terrible. Max actually knows his stuff and doesn't rely on hot takes most of the time. And his "im smarter than everyone" gimmick is a nice alternative to Stephen A.

No he doesn't. Max has some horrible points.

-Swore Luck would be MVP when everyone could see the Colts were likely to finish 3rd in the division
-His Lebron stanning is ridiculous. Said his legacy looked better after losing in the finals

It's pretty much a must watch for me everyday. I DVR it and usually catch it when I get home from work.

max is great on there, but he tends to use the most obscure out of the box examples to parllel his points.

Some how he 'll find himself connecting the Ancient Romans, to Space exploration with what Team is going to next season

He even gives an interesting take to it...even if he is wrong.

Not sure if u referring to Max and Marcellus, but that show was the GOAT. Made my long ass drive from work much smoother
