Defense ain’t even the most glaring issue for Bmore

They finished second to last in sacks behind the Jets. Their defense was awful last season. Minter probably fixes that.

This goes back to something I’ve been saying for years, and now it’s applying across multiple regimes: they don’t look at Lamar as a regular passer.

I mean this is mind boggling. Every premiere QB of this generation has a had an undeniable #1 at some point ….except Lamar. Some have added TWO. Stafford, Hurts, Burrow.

So yea Derek Henry, Max crosby, Roquan…none of that is going to fix their issues come playoffs which is lamar being consistent in a normal, functioning modern passing offense.

A more impactful move would have been giving give up ONE first for AJ instead of two for Crosby.

I don't see what the solution is to this though. Alec Pierce would be a great signing but they need to extend Lamar before Wednesday to free up space for him. Still might be too rich for them since they need to sure up the O line and still might resign their center.

Mike Evans would be nice.

Romeo Doubs is out there but a team like the Titans will probably overpay him.

I know Ravens fans are tired of them signing old WR's but Diggs could help if they can't afford a star. This isn't a good year for free agent receivers. Maybe there's a solid starter they could trade for with 4th or 5th round pick.

Zay Flowers was 7th in yards and 11th in catches and some of y'all still think he's a bum. In other words, unless Lamar gets any one of those 6 guys I just named, it won't be enough for his fans.

Two first is a lot, especially one in the top 15, but the Ravens defensive line has needed bolstering to it's pass rush for a while. Maxx contract being locked in for a couple of years also helps with the value of the trade.
I guess this means Linderbaum is likely not coming back or maybe Lamar gets a deal done in the next few days to allow some cap gymnastics?
