In general ILLmind was a problem in the 2000s era, he produced some serious bangers. I got a playlist from that era with all the heat he did for artist like Supastition, Akrobatik, Napz N Dreds, Kenn Starr, El Da Sensei, etc.

I hate being a chatty patty but I always wonder when these groups or bands just STOP messing with each other in such a way if perhaps girlfriends/wives or the like aren’t involved somehow. Usually women and money are the top two things that lead to lifelong animosity amongst men.

I mean its a documentary chronicling a musical entity that 9th actually had an equal hand in CREATING which directly led to the pristine career he’s had. Not even making an appearance seems pretty bugged out. Imaging a Rolling Stones documentary without Keith Richards or a Roots documentary without Questlove. Just seems weird they can’t set aside differences to even celebrate and have a career retrospective

9th is probably salty cause phonte aired him out after their last album came out. basically said the beats he submitted were wack and his ego was too big for someone who left the group



honestly I feel like this shyt should've stayed in house. phonte could've just could've said creative differences and they couldn't make it work. to my knowledge 9th has never said anything negative about phonte or pooh publicly and he even shouted out their new album. sucks they couldn't put everything aside for the doc but I get it
