I dont think a 3rd season is gonna happen. Ive been watching it off and on and this season 2 is riding hard with bring SOA into the mix to maybe get some viewers. Chibbs is about to drop in on a episode. Also sutter said he didnt want to do it past the 2nd season.

I think this season is way better than the first season. All the characters are settling into their roles. The main thing they're missing is that true CLAY MORROW type scumbag. Once they introduce a character like that, they'll be firing on a cylinders.

The only thing that bothers me a little, is that the Mayans don't stand out personality wise as much as the SAMCROW members. You had Tig, Clay, Elvis, Happy, Juice, Jax, and Chibs. They all stood out, and were different. I still don't know all the Mayans names.

I feel the same way 100% with your post. It's a good show and based on the power of SOA, it's what started me watching.
I think It'll take some time for character development if they stick around further past season 2. I just think that they introduced too many story lines at once and for a casual viewer it's hard to juggle between Galindo, Los Olvidados, Potter and his mind games, the mystery of the Reyes', the real story behind Ignacio Cortina and just the MC period.

The only Mayans character that stands out to me is CoCo we at least have some background on him. He was a Marine sniper who's obviously fukked up from it, his sister who was doing porn was actually his daughter and he murked his addict abusive mother.

agreed. No one in The Mayans is a real cold hearted villain type of dude, they all have different qualities but it's not on the level of demonic as Clay was - no soul and motivated off pure selfishness/envy/greed/jealousy. Sons had balance with the evil v good conflict. It's almost like they made the characters too nice and redeemable on this show.

The only one that stands out to me aside from the two brothers is the member that reunited with his daughter; and ended up killing his mother because the mother beat her up. He stands out bc he completely changes character when he comes to his daughter - with how attentive, awkward and protective he is about her. But has no problem giving headshots to rivals at will but acts marshmallow soft with her.

That entire VM chapter has got to go. Jax and Clay’s SAMCRO wouldn’t rest until it happens, including Chibs. I don’t want to see any static over it. Coco is one of the best characters on the show. It’s war.
