Maybe I missed something. But is the term Butler or maid now not allowed to be used?

Was curious after seeing Jeffrey announce himself as the “house manager” on the Bel Air show.

Actually I’m 31. Was that word used widely in the 80s and 90s?
Butlers and house managers are the same thing.

It has nothing to do with the phrase "not allowed to be used."

Hollywood establishes the status quo.

Arsenio was the last Breh to call them out on their bullshyt.

TLDR: fakkits in Hollywood have a big influence on what's allowed to be aired on TV nowadays.
what the fukk does this have to do with the title "house manager" man :dwillhuh:
Please tell me you know this is a real thing, and has been for decades? :gucci:

My dad's been telling me to watch this.

I'd imagine they call him a house manager to establish the difference between Jeffery from the Sitcom and this Jeffery.

Those words are still used.
Maid Pro is a popular cleaning company. I always get a butler when I go to Mexico.
