Nah, RocNation needs to smartenup. They're taking an L on him right now. They need to feed his core and try to build him with some material on the shelves.

He doesn't necessarily need to make a radio single to pop. I think if he has a single that's digestible to radio but isn't poppy, that would be ideal; he drops a poppy single, then he loses the people who rallied around him in the first place. But if he has a joint that strikes the balance like Kendrick did with Swimming Pools, and they actually give him a really strong push, he could do *decent* numbers, or at least get a strong foundation. I think his fans may feel the same sort of obligation that made Kendrick fans band together for GKMC
