Liangelo being the least talented of the 3 but having the best looking form is the most comical thing about it.

Is there anything im missing as to why they wouldnt change it? While were at it, how do they have ben simmons off for a year, and he flares his elbos out like that at the free throw line? shyts embarrasing

It's hard to change your shot at the level they're playing at, it could take years of offseason work, you generally can't change during a season.

Certainly can’t do a complete overhaul. Gotta make tweaks here and there over time. A good example of this is Chris Bosh whose jumper at Miami looked way different than his jumper at Georgia Tech after being worked on over the years in toronto.

Lonzo is the most talented basketball player in the family. It's too early to tell how good he will be in the NBA, so far he's been inconsistent which is expected for a rookie to trying to adjust to the pro level. as far as Melo, he's not even top 10 in his class (thats after Barret reclassified).

His brothers don't have the fukked up mechanics that Lonzo has but jesus they all love to chuck. I hate that style of basketball.

Lavar didn't teach his boys no grown man basketball?

I was highly critical of him until I saw an actual game. Shot selection and defense is trash but his court vision, poise and creativity on the floor was impressive.

Lonzo will still be a better pro, but Melo isn't destined to fail like some may believe.

The Truth
Lavar hasn't lied to us yet :ehh:

Give him time, It's only a few games. I think he's lost in himself right now. His identity is a leader and as a winner that makes crazy plays. He was never a volume shooter or a scorer per se but he HAS to put up some kinda numbers now...

But technically he's new to the job and to the environment with a ton of pressure so I think he's doing everything possible to help the TEAM win until he stops struggling on his shot.

Coaching staff also has to find ways and run plays specifically for him off the ball to get some easy looks.

But despite shooting like shyt he had the highest +/- on the floor AND they got the W

Lamelo is easily the better scorer out of both brothers. His shot selection is terrible though BUT the reason why is because usually his team is undersized and they are a high volume/paced players. Lonzo needs to run to be more effective while Melo doesn't
