Nah these rappers just p*ssy and need an excuse to continue to be cowards

True

Hip hop beefs have been proving to invigorate record sales. Its a proven fact, so I can't see any record exec saying a response is a bad idea. Any publicity is good publicity when your in need for some buzz. And right now Fab is struggling to release an album. It just doesnt make sense.

The only rappers who should respond is who KDOT namedropped :yeshrug:

I felt NY rappers should respond cause he basically said he was the King of your home town. Basically saying I'm not even from your state but Im better than all you nikkas. I'm the king of your own city. If your from NY and up and coming you should have felt some way about that and respond.

But at the same time, y'all be rattling off about how nobody is "defending" NYC and it's rappers when Kendrick dissed them and called them out. So they're scared. East/West beef is brewing again. You can't have it both ways. Which one is it. And I'm so sick of hearing y'all say washed up rappers, old flabby and sick rappers who need to sit down. When was beef or battling ever about money, fame, popularity or clout. Y'all are screaming beef with this, but then wanna call the rappers who did respond washed up and irrelevant. Hip Hop (not rap, money, music industry or mainstream) will never be washed up, talent will never be irrelevant or washed up. This is why I can't stand the dummy ass sheep you new negros have become.

MY reasons for saying certain rappers need to sit they down..was based on their initial reactions...

case in point Papoose ...he's b1tchmade...taking it all personal when you and this man (k. dot) have a relationship even going to the point of shytting on his management and his mom...and HE AIN'T EVEN MENTION YO BYATCH A$$....where they do that at?

so real talk.....IT IS PAPOOSE TRYING TO MAKE IT A "EAST / WEST" situation...

when I think it was just colorful language on k. dot's part to get dialogue started and lit a fire for the culture

and let's not talk about mr. manic depressive JOE BUDDEN......he didn't learn any lessons from RAE punching him in the face....but yet he wanna talk shyt to STYLES P. of all people ...over what ANOTHER NICCA SAID....

:russ: these dudes ARE JOKES......as a native tri-stater.....they NEED TO SIT THEY A$$ DOWN...

and let the ones who know the art of battling and how not to take it seriously

and if anybody got a problem with my statements in the words of that "other" KANG OF NYC....

PIMP C!!!.................. "their is a fight to go along with that too...and u gonna smell my cologne....that's YSL I get for 49.99 on clearance from Macys cause I don't play!!" :shaq:

and what exactly would a Fabolous diss in 2013 be doing to Kendrick Lamar that somebody higher up would have to tell him not to drop it?

contrary to popular belief on here, fabulous is more popular than Kendrick in the outside world, and he actually has an avenue for his music to be heard.

that's a deadly combination seeing that fabulous would easily get in Kendrick's ass. pause.

Wack and at the same time understandable.

The list of rappers who responded is a who's who of 'washed up' rappers.

Mainstream creates the illusion of success by keeping talent they've invested in away from those types. It's also the reason Kendrick called out the rappers he did.

EXACTLY.

it cracks me up how people in here have fallen for the idea that Kendrick is raising the bar and bucking they system. in reality, Kendrick is directly benefiting from the system and the illusions that you speak of.

this whole chit is a ploy to make Kendrick look credible and relevant. this is honestly the 1st time im regularly getting into conversations about this dude offline.

and another thing...last time I checked FAB ain't really much of a high priority on the DEF JAM roster......don't get me wrong he is a solid artist on the radio and the streets...

the bolded is all that's needed.

a rapper on the airwaves that actually gets love in the streets can easily ruin everything. these new mainstream rappers are food.

the only new era radio rapper that's loved in the streets is meek millz, and hes not gonna do anything more than throw back a quick friendly fire line at Kendrick.

HOLD UP HOMIE.......yes FAB has a solid fanbase on the radio and streets...but truth be told .......KENDRICK AT THIS POINT IS MORE RELEVENT DUE TO A STRONG FEMALE FANBASE AND HE IS YOUNGER AND GOT THAT HUNGER TO CREATE A LONGSTANDING CAREER.....

FAB ain't HOV...or 50 CENT....he ain't stopping nobody project and with his swagged out fashion statement lines I JUST DON'T SEE HIM COMING UP WITH A CAREER ENDING VERSE to silence KENDRICK.....

sorry homie ..but the HYPE IS REAL....KENDRICK IS THE TRUTH.......and all u can do is SALUTE HIM OR SHOOT HIM!! :salute:

I see that youre kind of cheerleading Kendrick. im on some real talk chit tho.

lets be real, Kendrick female fanbase isn't anywhere near the level of fabolous'.

Kendrick is in that wale-type lane of female pandering. and hes not even seeing f**kin wale's female fanbase.

you say "the hype is real" but if its really real, then you don't need much hype. besides, I literally saw this nicca get planted and spotted that chit from jumpstreet, by the way.

To be fair, he did raise the bar by telling the new generation of rappers to stand on their own, even though he ironically did it on a posse track. :ohhh:

But yeah he isnt slick. He elevated a grip of mainstream rappers who have 'now' like they're the pinnacle of rap. He's a part of the industry propaganda just as much as anyone.

And for the record I think K Dot is nice. Him and the rest of TDE are building off the foundation that Blu and Fashawn laid for West Coast rappers to make good non-stereotypical WC music with substance as opposed to the formula that rappers like Snoop & Game ran into the ground.
