:comeon: Lot of Islam on that list:mjlol:
:jbhmm: Sidebar aside from koo-fee wearing Nas no other Islamic rapper really doesn't have a classic.. unanimously recognized..
:comeon: Not to mention if you throw jay electronica in there most Muslim rappers don't have the work ethic of other artists...they really drop whenever they feel like it..
:sas1: Must be nice...:russ:

Don’t understand why people get so mad at this shyt. Hiphop is 50 something years old now, people in all kinds of professions listen to Hiphop. It is what it is

Mid 30s and Lil Wayne is not in his top 5? Surprised, I'm around Mamdani age and Wayne was all my peers favorite rapper in High School.

I think I said this before I but I was surprised at how hated Lil Wayne was on The Coli as dude was really loved IRL in my experience in NYC.

Wayne was getting too much love during the d-block era so us purists were not having him in the discussion at all

This was after crunk, snap and ringtone so the “real hip-hop” was already wound up and pretty anti-south

Only song I fukked with at the time was What U Know from TI

Solid list. Lupe is my #1, Nas my #3, and Jay #4.

And I could easily put Common and Biggie in my top 15

:ehh:
