To be fair, it’s a pretty standard management (or “advising”) contract. There’s nothing in it that says Al is power of attorney. In fact, it says he can’t agree to anything without written approval from the fighter.
Floyd is not Dame Dash but he’s at a point where life isn’t nearly as comfortable as it should be for someone who made high 9 figures in his career. He owes millions of dollars to multiple entities, and it ain’t no telling how much he owes around Vegas.
People thought him taking these exhibition fights was Floyd “robbing the bank”, but he needed/needs that money. The signs have been there; he’s been doing ads for Temu water guns and strip mall surgeons for years
He hasn’t had a successful business venture and he spends way more than he brings in. He also has a constant need for attention and validation, which is why he travels around like MC Hammer even when he has nothing going on.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s gotten scammed by people in real estate; I refuse to believe he was dumb enough to tell people he owned NYC apartment buildings knowing it can easily be researched. Someone told him that and he probably really thought he did
