Khabib's Dad Wants Mike Tyson, Loma Sr. For Mayweather Bout

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, the father of UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, believes his son would do a lot better against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in boxing match - at least better than MMA rival Conor McGregor.
Khabib defeated Conor McGregor at UFC 229 to retain his lightweight title, although the victory was overshadowed by post-fight incidents in which the two were involved in clashes with members of the opposing camps.
This past Saturday night at the World Boxing Super Series event in Russia, Khabib appeared in a video alongside Leonard Ellerbe, the chief executive of Mayweather Promotions, and challenged Mayweather to a bout.
The former five division world champion already responded, addressing potentially interested parties and pointing them in the direction of Ellerbe's social media channels, where the video was posted.
"CBS, Showtime and MGM Grand, get the chequebook out," Mayweather posted on Twitter. "Go to Leonard Ellerbe's page to view Khabib Nurmagomedov challenging me."
While Khabib has a perfect 27-0 record in UFC, Mayweather a a record of 50-0.
Last August, McGregor made an attempt to transition to boxing - and he was broken down and stopped by Mayweather in the the tenth round.
Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov is confident his son would do better - but he would like Khabib to be prepared by former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson and Anatoly Lomachenko, who is the father and trainer of pound-for-pound champion Vasyl Lomachenko.
“Based on the rules of boxing, Khabib will have chances [to win], he will certainly have more chances than McGregor,” Nurmagomedov Sr. said. “Khabib will get in real close and clinch. I would like the best specialist in the boxing world, Anatoly Lomachenko. and Mike Tyson of course. Khabib will have chances [against Mayweather], but right now it’s premature to talk about this fight, because there is a trial in Nevada."

Mayweather is creating a great, post fight career blueprint for fighters out there.He will spend the rest of his life fighting the "hottest" MMA guy out there in exhibition style matches. I'm not mad at it, it's not like he's holding up a division.
