Did anybody really think they weren't gonna entertain a re-match before or after the fight? Too much money involved.
As much as people hate, the re-match will still do all-time numbers. It's just up to Arum to successfully spin the injury and swindle the public.

Dunno man. I don't follow boxing but I'm familiar with Mayweather's fighting style. It's amazing how many people I'm seeing on Facebook, the radio, at work, etc crying over how boring the fight was, how "nothing happened," how Mayweather didn't punch much (lol), etc etc etc. I think a lot of people had no idea who Mayweather was, and just assumed he must be an amazing KO boxer and thus the fight would be action packed. Then there are other people who associate boxing with Rocky or Mike Tyson and expect crazy shyt to happen. I really don't think they'll be tricked again by this match.
Then there's the issue of Pac having to take a year to recover from surgery. Once he comes back he'll be even older and slower...I can't see it. Then again maybe this was his camp's plan. Do the first fight, get the payday, reveal you were injured and try to get a rematch.

I said before this joke of a fight was announced that Mayweather would beat pac and it wouldn’t be close. The fight should have happened five or six years ago when both fighters were at their peak. Mayweather did the smart thing and just waited until Pacquiao got old and pounced. That would have been a great fight but now Pacquiao has more miles on him than a 74 pinto and hasn’t knocked out anyone since 08. Mayweather and Pacquiao suckered the public into one of the biggest ripoffs of the 21 century.
I personally didn’t watch the fight because I knew it would be a joke. And if they have a rematch and people pay for that trash thinking anything will change from the first fight you should be beaten within an inch of your life. The public, are such idiots that these dumb fukks will buy it again and complain after they get the same result. I think Alexander Hamilton said it best, “The masses are asses.”
