Nos hasn't influenced anyone in this generation with his boring ass music, Drake's Idol is Ye

His main influence was king yeezus“Nas was somebody that I used to listen to his raps and never understood how he did it. I always wanted to understand how he painted those pictures and his [rhyming] bar structure. I went back and really studied Nas and Andre 3000 and then came back with this album.”---- Drake

. Ye said that as a joke he told mebu, bu, but Nas hasn't influenced anybody in this generation with his "boring music"..
"I'm just a Chi-town nikka with a Nas flow"----- "King Yeezus"

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is a great album, but:
- Nicki Minaj, Pusha T, Jay Z, Cy Hi, and Rick Ross all renegaded Kanye on that album
- We're comparing an album full of posse cuts to an album where the main artist holds down the album for dolo save for one song
- We're comparing an album that changed Hip Hop to an album that pretty much came and went regarding Hip Hop. The one that changed Hip Hop is the one that had artists getting a variety producers to produce their albums vs. the one producer album. The other album did relatively nothing that hadn't been done before.
- One album is praised for being a standard for lyricism, the other one isn't
Yes, Koonye is a Chitown nikka wit a naS flow... only thing about it is no one really compliments Koonye's flow... its because he has a weak ass naS flow. If he had a Twista flow, or Jigga flow, etc nikkaz would be likebut he has a naS flow so nikkaz be like
As for the thread, I'm not a big fan of MBDTF, but its still lightyears ahead of trashmatic, from lyrics to production, to concepts. And unlike naS, you can actually see where Koonye has influenced the genre. After Ye came out with CD shyt actually changed. Then when he came out with 808's shyt changed again. Aint no one make a shytty ass Trashmatic album after it came out, instead naS changed his shyt up to copy what other nikkaz was doin. Duke is a follower, not a leader. Not to mention Conway murdered naS on his own shyt, and murdered him on Ye's shyt too.
