at least not because of the $15 minimum wage. they were planning on doing this regardless. now they just have an excuse.

especially when you consider we don't actually have a $15 minimum wage in like 95% of america yet they already got plans to implement this in 2 years. how is it the fight for $15s fault?

You think this shyt was just conceived? Has the history of labor in this country not showed you that the goal is always to get the most with the least manpower? The fight for 15 is about wages not keeping up with inflation for ages.

The bots were inevitable cause eventually, they would still be cheaper than minimum wage earners, even if they earning $5 an hour. Bots don't call off work, don't leave for better opportunities, etc. Stop blaming folks who want better for themselves

and recognize, regular ass mom and pop shops are not the ones killing labor. Its the big boys.

My hubby and I actually had a contract with McDonalds with our own team of people, installing those throughout Canada, a couple years ago. Very convenient, but will be replacing a great deal of cashiers.

The McDonalds near my neck of the woods recently putting up promotions on the windows of free fries and drinks every Tuesday, Friday, Sunday if people order through the mobule phone app than go to cashier.

I don't really care. It's just another collapsing foundation beneath a system that must burn if we are ever to be free.
