Its funny because I've called myself a big fan of westcoast rap since 1988 but my knowledge of mc Eiht is pretty much limited to " one time gaffled em up" and "straight up Menace"...need to go and check up on him....but I'm still not gonna put him over Cube Snoop or E-40

Nah,but definitely certified and recognized as a staple from that gangsta rap era and one of the very few from that era to still be putting out new music! Which Way Iz West is a good album! Nobody does it or sounds like Eiht!

Eiht is up there with Quik at #5, and I would personally go with Quik over Eiht. Now if you're talking lyrical ability, I would go with Crooked I or Chino XL over Eiht. But Eiht dope though.
