Good clip.
A question, to anybody.
Why is Eiht naming non-rapper groups when he's talking about differences between New York and LA hip hop of that era?
For every Wreckin Crew act that he named, there were singing groups from NY putting out the same type of content, dressing the same way. Atlantic Starr, for example.

Interesting take from the dude on the left about LA and Miami Bass. Techno type records were being released around the country, and its fascinating how different regions gravitate towards sounds, and keep them going after the national interest shifts to something else.
I think Mr Mixxx played a big hand in the development of Miami Bass, but to call him the founder is a bit of a reach.
Speaking of regions adopting/gravitating towards music, I thought PSK was a good record, but nothing noteworthy when it came out. Also couldnt make out what he was saying on the hook. It wasnt until years later and Ice T mentioning how that song heavily influenced his music, that I even understood it.
