But I do get the fact that mainstream America probably has no idea who the fukk he is because he didn't have a uber successful solo career.

He didn't have the career Cube, Eazy or Dre did. however, Ren's Kizz My Black Azz album went platinum. His 2nd joint went gold too. I think he's had a pretty damn decent solo career. It's just a shame how they're treating the mane right now, tho.

It's a TRAILER...same way you can't possibly squeeze ALL of 8 years into 2 hrs, you can't squeeze 2 hours into 2 minutes.

I don't see The Chronic or Amerikkka's Most in the trailer either... matter fact, Cube leaving the group aint in the trailers either... so if they aint in there, why you think Ren droppin a solo EP after the group broke up would be?

regardless he is part of the story what they did in the trailer was disrespectful Cube and Dre got enough clout to make sure every group member got some love in the trailer, can you imagine Ren telling his kids Hollywood is doing a biopic on his group, they all watch the trailer and look at him like you were in the group ?

The dumbest thing is that adding Ren and Yella's name would just add what, an extra 1-2 seconds to the trailer? I understand Cube, Dre, and Easy are the big three - similar to how Bono and The Edge are the big two in U2. Or how John and Paul will always be bigger than George and Ringo. But this still feels wack to me. Cube and Dre are sitting pretty on millions - billions in Dre's case. They can't give the other dudes some shine, just this once, for the movie?
