It was a different time. shyt was common for high school girls to get ran thru by older dudes ESPECIALLY IN THE LATE 80s, crack money had the world crazy. 90’s was wild.

Running trains and all that was happening.

NWA was trying to say the most shocking things they could at the time. You have to take it into context. fukk the police wouldn’t be made now either.

Dude is telling on himself. I heard this song as a kid too and I knew it was wrong back then. You shouldn't need to be 40 or have daughters to know better.
One of the few men to make this point. Thank you.

Under age girls get touched by grown ass men all the time, and people ignore it. Rap about it, but sure, we should just assume it’s only music 👌🏾 😉

A lot of people don’t care until they have daughters of their own or sisters to protect, etc.

90s definitely was a different time. I remember when I went to school in upstate NY, 7th grade, met/saw a schoolmate there who was 🤰 .. think she dropped out after the baby. Shyt messed with me mentally, cause I never seen nothing like that and I was maybe 11/12 at the time. Years later went to community College and saw the same girl there... my homeboy was trying to talk to her. Son was in the car. Wild shyt. Immediately recognized her due to that trauma I remembered and her being 19ish while her son was 7 at the time.

Hope theyre doing well to this day. 🙏🏾

It was a different time. Of course nobody wanted their underage sister or daughter messing with grown men. But it was understood some girls were fast and doing what they wanted to do.

Now society just pretends that all these underage girls are being manipulated or forced somehow. Which is cool, since accountability should fall on the grown man anyway(unless the girl/boy lied). But it doesnt address the fact alot of these kids were molested young, and thats why they are more advanced sexually. Plus society is overtly bombarding kids with sexual content.

Just like brehs have mentioned HS girls been getting picked up by older dudes with cars and cribs since forever
I was heated about Ren and Goldy from Dangerous Crew saying shyt like that because I was 14-15 and thinking why don't you get with girls your age and leave the 14 year olds to me, FOH

Ren was more outrageous with it, but Goldy was blatant. I mean look at this shyt:

"I love my high school cuties, muscle bound booties
Pulls a hoes, so you know I had to do my duties
I got to have it like a rabbit, fukk her like a champ
I tell you, nikka, I'm a pro with these high school tramps"

:dahell:

Gotta realize he probably did a few takes, then it was A&R and exec meetings, mixing, mastering, promo, etc
At no point did any one stop and say "hmmm....I don't know about this illegal activity here"

In Da 15th
I never liked MC Ren - so fukk him.

Why don’t people make these threads about Biggie? He was a nonce as well with questionable lyrics.

The Wrong Side of the Tracks
Let's not demonize him unfairly.....

**I know it's a cover**

Song came out when I was a kid and I was like......:dahell:'Ain't he like, 40 years-old??!!'

Inb4 'Bu-bu-but Ren was talking about a 13 year-old!!!!'

He was 22 when that song was released and it was SUPPOSED to be 'shocking'.

You're right.
The group, even down to their name as an act, were going after the shock factor. To get a pmrc sticker on the album and to generate controversy/publicity.
There was so much violence rapped about that the disgusting shock lines about violating women/girls went under the radar.

They could say this on a track but jadakiss couldn’t say Hebrews:wtf:
That was about airplay on the radio.

C. Delores Tucker and Calvin Butts and others spoke out about the tone/language/themes of rap records in the era shortly after NWA came out. NWA blew up without airplay or promotion. The light bulb went off, and record companies began signing acts making that kind of content..and elements of this kind of stuff gradually got on the radio/video airwaves.

nikkas going to be shock by that song

90s isnt no different from today except social media..

If social media was around back then, these generation x women would be exposed as hoes and not married,, tupac and biggie case would be solved and a whole lot of R kellys, like Jayz and others would be catching cases for fukking foxy brown

That album was great musically but I can’t listen to it now because of lyrics like that. I guess it was cool when we were younger on some listen and laugh shyt. I’m just not with them vibes now. These pull up old obscure songs to cringe at the lyrics posts are always funny to me though.

I used to love that album and preferred it to SOC. But looking back at it, it was just overkill Aggy cap ass raps because Cube left them hanging.

The album itself was all over the place and fell on its face after the first few tracks. Eazy had his hands alllllll over that project with the constant raps about p*ssy and sucking dikks. Like breh, we get it ..you JBO across the belly.

Overall, the album aged kinda terribly, but the title song still fukking bangs in them trees :banderas:
