Shan is 100% right but Marley stopped giving a fukk about the juice crew since In Control vol 2 when the Juice Crew was only on two songs and he was working with LL and years later KRS

I mean...he's right.

It would've been dope to see them get back with Marley. But we don’t know what kinda efforts or talks they had before going with RZA. So who knows.

Secondly, Shan is right about 35% of the time in his videos complaining about sh*t. But his message gets lost a lot in the fact that his crackhead rants are damn near too sad to watch. Bro really f*cked his whole career up.

He’s about as right as people saying that Nas should have Large Professor produce every album he’s ever done..

Which means he’s NOT right. He’s just insane

You right lmao.

Speaking of Nas this makes me wonder how many ideas they had for the Legend Has It series. Did they simply think "Slick Rick/Rae/Ghost/Mobb/De La" or were other rappers and groups considered or even approached? Juice Crew seems like the type of idea that may have come to Nas' mind at some point right.

I would love to know that as well. Was it organic and these artists were all working on things (other than Big L obviously) and he just brought them together? De La Soul in particular seems kind of out of left field and yet they fit perfectly. Supposedly they were working on AOI 3 again after all these years so I'm not sure what changed.

I don't think Nas is the ideas man tbh....Rae said that someone from Mass Appeal (can't remember who he said) contacted him about the Legend Has It project - he was just about to close the deal on a different situation so Mass Appeal needed to move fast but he reached out to Nas who made it happen. It sounds like there's a team behind the Legend Has It project and Nas is the face of it - that's not to discredit him though as he's been doing a spectacular job supporting in the promo runs for all the albums and making sure they all get their shine.
