Home Alone is one of those concepts that could have only worked in the 90s. A reboot or updated sequel would flop pretty hard. McCauley has been toying with this idea for years. Let it go.

They can definitely run a sequel, but Kevin Mcallister coming back with the sticky bandits to house shyt and get chased by his older Buzz who's a cop and still eating all the damned Cheese Pizza. And he ain't even gonna be in the credits, he's the mid way plot twist, on some 3rd quarter Keiser Soze. Only problem is, is that they'd have to get some new "plucky" kid to save the day, but I'm thinking a pack of kids (pause) on some sandlot shyt, battling a string of burglaries that Kevin been doing 'cause he done been through the shyts.
