I could start a lemonade stand tmrw to support my family, but that doesn't mean it's not a kid's job. I still should have graduated from it a long time ago as a functional adult.

Folks were never intended to set up camp in these types of jobs. I have the same argument for people who took Uber which was intended to be part-time work and made it a double full-time job. And then they start complaining about work conditions which were never intended for them to be there long term.
